E-G Employee Recognition

On Friday, June 1 the administration recognized retirees and employees for five year milestones in service.
Retirees that were honored:  Linda Erickson with 14 years of service and Gary Milbrandt with five years of service.
Employees with five years of service:  Amanda Brunfelt, Jeff Carey, Kaylee Hennen, Lori Perushek, Jane Sakrison-Chilcote, Melissa Schroeder, and Justine Slygh.

Franklin Elementary Awards

Franklin students were recognized at the awards program held on May 29.  Award categories were:  Star Reader, Accelerated Reader, Reading Excellence, 100 AR Point Club, 200 AR Point Club, 300 AR Point Club, Stellar Student, Math Excellence, Super Speller, Most Improved, Best Effort, and School Patrol.  Kate Morley was recognized for having the most Accelerated Reader points in the entire school.  Congratulations to all!  To view photos of the event visit the Franklin Elementary Facebook page here...More Information

Nelle Shean Awards Program

Congratulations to all of our 5th and 6th grade students who were recognized at the Awards Program! Job well done!
Award categories included:  grade 5-6 band, grade 5-6 orchestra, school patrols, 5-6 grade star readers, outstanding attendance, perfect attendance, Barb Preiner "ray of sunshine, president's award for educational achievement, president's award for educational excellence, friends of Rachel club, knowledge bowl, Kai coders, make the cut, and the American essay award.

Natalie Fultz Breaks Record!

CONGRATULATIONS to Natalie Fultz for breaking the 300m hurdles school record at the Hibbing meet. This record has been held since 2008. The new record is 47.35. Continue to break your own record in Sections!

Way to go Eveleth-Gilbert Golf!

Congratulations to the Eveleth-Gilbert Girls and Boys Golf Teams an outstanding day at the East Range Conference Tournament.  The boys team placed first and the girls team placed second.

Senior Scholarship Recognition

Congratulations on "Making the Cut"

Some excellent 6th graders were able to "Make the Cut" Congratulations on demonstrating many of the traits from our 6 Pillars of Character!


Congratulations to these 8th grade students!  They "Made the Cut" at the Gilbert Campus.


Congratulations to Alec Gritzmacher who competed in the final round of competition at the State Speech Meet, earning a 6th place medal in Serious Interpretation of Poetry.
